DJs at Paramount: DJ Tracy Young To make it in the cutting edge of club scene one must be versatile, innovative, and adaptable. If you've been keeping up with the dance music world over the past decade, then chances are that your ears have already feasted on the potent blends of Dance, House and Tribal rhythms served up by hard hitting Miami-based DJ Tracy Young. Complimenting her global spinning schedule, the fresh, energetic and wildly creative Young has also worked her magic on a repertoire of remixes. She has infused her signature style into the Latin rhythms of Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan and Shakira, the eclectic sounds of the Pet Shop Boys and Simpy Red, and has put a fierce dance spin on icons such as Christina Aguilera, Cyndi Lauper and Madonna, administering a musical symphony of the latter's hit "Music." Billboard Magazine called it "an emotional masterpiece". Tracy's path to becoming a successful female DJ in the industry began in her hometown of Washington D.C. After relocating to Miami and spinning at the legendary Liquid she has blown the crowd away with her music and her new compilation released on Ferosh Records this past year. Tracy has held residencies at NYC's Roxy nightclub, and Miami's Space 24 and currently plays a monthly party at Miami's Crobar and just performed at the White Party in 2005. |
