Jason has been voted "BEST DJ" in the Washington Blade's Best of Gay DC survey for three straight years- 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Jason has worked in nightlife in Washington, DC for 12 years, has been DJ'ing since 2001. He's developed his own style which can be best described as fun and diverse. He likes to keep people wondering what will happen next and enjoys creating journeys that include vocal, tribal, progressive and mainstream house. He has also been spinning an extremely successful and popular weekly 70's disco and 80's retro event for over 6 years and is working to develop the party into a national, traveling tour. Jason's Flashback party currently features continuously mixed, all original disco and retro music along with a live video show that compliments the theme to create a fun, high energy trip back in time.
Jason has worked at various clubs and parties in DC since moving to Washington in '95. Those have included Tracks, Tantrum and Velvet Nation. More recently he has spun at such clubs and venues as Club XS (York, PA), Crown & Anchor, Paramount Nightclub (Provincetown), Grand Central (Baltimore), Town (DC), Pure (Philadelphia), Woody's (Philadelphia), The Necto (Ann Arbor, MI), Hamburger Mary's/Mary's Attic (Chicago), Cherry (DC), Genesis Saturday's (DC), Wet Nightclub (DC), Capital Pride '06 (DC), Capital Pride '05 (DC), Baltimore Pride '05, Visions Cinema & Lounge (DC) and MCCXXIII (DC).
Jason is now the resident DJ (Tuesday and Saturday) as well as the Assistant Manager of Cobalt in Washington, DC.
"I don't like using hype words to describe my style of spinning. I like doing my own thing and having fun. I don't have a box of cheesy gimmicks and I'm not the main attraction...club-goers are." He goes on to say, "You don't have to be a superstar DJ to make a dancefloor happy. Getting people to realize that is half the fun."
