There is a new girl in town and she's bringing fire, passion and the truth to the stage. Comedian, author, actress, vocalist, host and advice diva are all hats worn by the versatile Robbyne Kaamil. Her 'in-your-face' style has landed her an appearance on The Howard Stern Show and numerous other radio and television shows across the country.She was featured on the first season of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" when the Fab 5 orchestrated a makeover of one of her friends. Last year Robbyne was named Entertainment Editor for "Tantalizing Tales" which is an e-publishing venture founded by former Playgirl Magazine editor Charlene Keel. Robbyne has also been featured in several print campaigns as a full-figured model including a national campaign for Ashley Stewart. She has been performing her electrifying one woman show, 'Raw & Real...Life from One Woman's Perspective' which weaves excerpts from Robbyne's best selling book 'Get Off The Titty' with side-ripping comedy and riveting dramatic interludes to explore relationships, racism, police brutality and sex (the good, bad & the ugly) to sold out audiences across the country. Robbyne's rich gospel influenced vocals have graced numerous dance club hits including: Tweek'd Records release 'Now U Left Me' which reached the Top Ten on several international dance music charts and was also featured on the Mike Cruz CD 'Arrive', 'By Demand' released on Chameleon Records and 'Bitch Slap' produced by Randy Bettis. On 'Bitch Slap' Robbyne displays her rapping skills along with her soulful vocals. Her track 'What's a Girl to do' was released on Twisted Records last year. Robbyne's gift of writing intense thought provoking lyrics was demonstrated on 'Free to Love' which is on its way to becoming a gay rights anthem.
