The Central House at the Crown brings simplistically eclectic cuisine to the heart of Provincetown while accenting the region's local seafood and vegetables with very little preparation. Working directly with local farmers and fisherman whenever possible allows the ingredients to speak for themselves. Bringing approachable sophistication both in the kitchen and the dining room, Wine Steward and restaurant manager Peter Miscikoski enlightens the dining experience with an amazing wine selection and an atmosphere of warm hospitality.
An evening at The Central House is perfect for a relaxing dinner for two, or a special occasion get-together for a larger group. Choose from distinctive fare like our Chilled Wellfleet Oysters with passion fruit mignonette or our Pan Seared Diver Scallops to sample the finest local seafood. For the more casual palate, local organic non-hormone beef takes the burgers at The Central House to an all new level of deliciousness. After dinner, sample one of The Central House's ambrosial dessert offerings, like the Lemon-Lavender Pound Cake with elderflower butter cream & black current sauce. Add an exquisite dessert wine or specialty coffee as a tasteful culmination for your evening.
The Central House has moved our popular 2 for 1 Tuesdays to Sundays, while Thursday nights will feature our $21 Prix Fixe menu, which includes entree, salad and dessert. Make the evening even more special, as guests at The Central House receive preferred seating to all of the great entertainment at The Crown & Anchor.
Hours:
Lunch is served from 11am to 4 PM
Dinner is served from 5pm to 10 PM
The Central House is open Thursday through Tuesday for the Summer season.
