Paramount is Provincetown’s largest waterfront nightclub for entertainment in Provincetown, offering state of the art technology and an unrivaled international DJ Roster. The center of Provincetown nightlife also hosts local and national Cabaret and Theatre performances throughout the calendar year. Our nightclub has just completed a full retrofit with upgrades to all sound and light jockey systems for this season.

Provincetown’s Gay Nightclubs have always been on the cutting edge of entertainment on Cape Cod and the Crown & Anchor takes our gay “straight friendly” nightlife to the highest level. The Paramount opens directly out to our waterfront pool area making it an ideal location for dancing, socializing or even an upscale social event like the Opening Party for the Provincetown International Film Festival. Other events include many fundraisers for local non-profits such as: Helping our Women, Outer Cape Health Services, the Aids Support Group of Cape Cod and many others. The most electrifying dance parties happen “only at the crown” which include; Memorial Day weekend event in association with Lesbian Nightlife.com and Provincetownforwomen.com featuring the FOAM PARTY on Sunday May 27th.

Also on the decks this year will be Independence 2012 highlighted by the 4th of July fireworks with Grammy nominated DJ Abel, the Fireman’s Ball during Bear week with all proceeds to benefit our local volunteer Provincetown Fire Department. These two events bring Provincetown gay nightlife to its apex.The entertainment continues in August as we host many Family Equality Council Events and then the grand finale Closing Party of Carnival on Friday August 17th with DJ Joe Gauthreaux. The Carnival Closing Party is a major fundraising event for the Provincetown Business Guild, our local “gay” Chamber of Commerce. Labor Day weekend this year will include DJ’s Grind, Alyson Calagna and Scotty K from Los Angeles.

The Paramount continues to host and provide the best Provincetown nightclub for Mates Leather Weekend in September, Womens’ week events and Fantasia Fair events in October as well. Halloween is a “must” here In Provincetown, voted in the top 3# locations by the Huffington Post you can’t miss the Spooky Bear weekend events here at the Crown & Anchor. New Years’ weekend events wrap up the grand finale of the year with a special Guest DJ to take you on a musical journey to from 2012 to 2013!!
