Aiden James

Sexy, Scruffy, Singer Songwriter Aiden James might not have made it onto your ipod just yet, but this 28 year old talent is well on his way to everyone ears. Currently working on his 3rd studio album due out 2011, this self taught musician was pulled from obscurity when his first music video "On the Run" had its television broadcast debut on Logo's NewNowNext PopLab in Febuary 2010. A buzz quickly followed on all the big blogs like AfterElton, Joe My God and so on.. saying "Aiden James has stolen our hearts with his video for "On the Run" -AE. Calling all the shots and controlling his own career Aiden James is a true indie artist. That said, he forged Songster Sounds, his own music label based out of Philadelphia where he resides. It doesn't stop there, this guys hits the road! Impressive tours reaching from Los Angles, CA all the way to Cologne, Germany, and nearly every spot in-between.

After hearing Aiden sing you might think of David Gray, or Matt Nathanson. He has a Pop/Rock sensibility. The interesting thing about Mr. James is that you can't say he sounds like anyone else. His spot on vocal is unique in texture with a range of nearly 3 octaves. One of the most impressive things about this scruffy beefcake is his ability to network. In the the same vein as your beloved Lady GaGa, you can see Aiden James working his way up from small clubs in New York City. You can even catch photos of him hanging out with celebrities like Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper.
